The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issued the following:
Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 78-2020,14 July 2020, to address the concerns of taxpayers regarding the filing and payment of taxes under the jurisdiction of Revenue Region No. 13 – Cebu City.
All concerned taxpayers are allowed to file and pay taxes through the nearest Authorized Agent Bank (AAB) via over-the-counter payment facilities or the nearest Revenue Collection Officer. Further, concerned taxpayers are encouraged to electronically file returns through eBIR Forms System and pay the corresponding taxes due thereon using the ePayment facilities.
RMC No. 77-2020, 30 July 2020, to clarify the definition of ECQ under RMC No. 74-2020 as Enhanced Community Quarantine.
