Amara is KPMG’s Cross Company Allyship Programme (CCAP) lead.

Amara joined KPMG in 2021. Prior to joining KPMG, Amara brings with her over 13 years’ experience at a tier one investment bank running global IT programmes where she also chaired the firms Muslim Network that went on to span several countries under her leadership. In 2022 Amara joined KPMG’s Cross Company Allyship Programme where under her leadership the programme grew fivefold and expanded into other European countries.  She is passionate about corporate social responsibility and spear heads a literacy programme at an East London school.

Aside from her day job, she is a self-published author who is passionate about increasing diversity in children’s literature. In 2023 she scooped up the Asian Women of Achievements award in the social and humanitarian category, a testament to her passion for all things Inclusion, Diversity and Equity. She lives by KPMG values and believes everyone should bring their authentic selves to the workplace to thrive!
