The Senate Committee on Finance has scheduled a public hearing entitled “American Made: Growing U.S. Manufacturing Through the Tax Code” for March 12, 2024.

In advance of the hearing, the staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) released a document that describes present-law and prior-law tax incentives for domestic manufacturing, and provides economic analysis.
