No proposed changes to corporate or individual (personal) tax rates

The Finance Minister of Ontario on 14 November 2022 released the fall economic update.

Although there were no proposed changes to corporate or individual (personal) tax rates, the economic update would:

  • Allow more medium-sized Canadian-controlled private corporations (CCPCs) to benefit from the small business deduction
  • Adjust certain cultural media tax credits
  • Extend gas and fuel tax reductions until the end of 2023
