KPMG Corporate Finance acted as financial advisor to Stargate Manufacturing Inc. (“Stargate”) on its announced sale to Groupe Hugo Corporation Inc. (“Groupe Hugo”).
Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Milton, Ontario, Stargate is a manufacturer of premium aluminum truck trailers for the North American market. The company has built a strong reputation for their high quality trailers, known for being both light weight and durable.
Groupe Hugo holds a network of other truck trailer manufacturing and distributing companies, operating primarily in Quebec. In adding Stargate to their network, they intend to solidify the strength of the Stargate brand by maintaining and growing the company’s operations in Milton.
