As the leader of the National Tax Accounting and Support Group, Pam also specializes in addressing complex tax accounting matters in the application of IFRS, Canadian and US GAAP and responsible for developing KPMG’s internal training with respect to tax accounting matters.  She has extensive experience servicing public companies in the financial services, industrial markets and consumer markets industries.  She has worked on a broad range of engagements that include:

End-to-end tax provision review process, including the design and implementation of US GAAP tax provision working papers for a large North American power and utilities company

Involved with the preparation of the IFRS tax transitional adjustments for various clients and working with the Canadian tax authorities to help them understand the  impacts as a result of the transition to IFRS

Provides on-going tax provision assistance for income tax matters directly to clients as well as to KPMG’s tax teams in various specialized areas

Recently completed IFRS conversion project and carve-out tax provision review for a leading supplier of advanced materials private company looking to list in Canada
