Joe Funiciello

Joe has 20 years’ experience in audit work for public companies, including international firms. Joe was part of our national professional practice department in Toronto for two years and also worked with KPMG International Financial Reporting Group (IFRG), our global IFRS unit in London, for another two years, where he played a key role in KPMG’s global IFRS interpretation network and contributed to several IFRS publications.

Joe’s experience makes him a valued technical resource for resolving complex international accounting matters arising in our assurance and advisory practices. He is a member of the IFRS Committee for the Ordre des CPA du Québec, the Canadian and international asset impairment, consolidation, joint arrangements and business combination Technical Topic Teams, and a regular contributor to our global network. Joe also has extensive training experience and is involved in presenting IFRS features to our professionals and our clients.
