Rick is a highly experienced Canadian Tax Practitioner with a broad base of tax experience to assist your privately owned business. With a deep understanding of Canadian tax law and regulations, Rick actively helps entrepreneurs navigate complex tax issues that can impact business growth and estate planning considerations. 

With experience spanning over 30 years, Rick has acquired experience in a wide range of services, including insurance and family estate planning. He provides transactional support for significant asset and share purchase transactions, as well as addressing various taxation concerns faced by mid-market and growing companies.

He has a particular focus and passion in working with privately held companies, offering tailored guidance and support. He has assisted clients operating in diverse industries such as Alberta's oil and gas services, real estate, manufacturing, retail, and forestry sectors. Notably, Rick has extensive experience in facilitating the expansion of these businesses into both U.S. and international markets.

Rick has also co-presented and co-authored papers at the 2015 and 2019 Prairie Provinces Tax Conference.
