Anna focuses her practice on corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on advising companies with respect to day-to-day operations, mergers and acquisitions and structuring. Anna’s practice includes advising on real estate joint ventures, limited partnerships and private equity structuring. She provides advice to regulated professionals on structuring and mergers and acquisitions. Anna also advises numerous international clients on their entry into Canada.
Anna has extensive experience advising on the organization of businesses and the day to day legal concerns facing companies, drafting acquisition agreements, shareholder, partnership and joint-venture agreements, as well as a broad range of general commercial agreements.
Acted for a large franchisor with respect to its Canadian operations.
Acted for a medical device manufacturer with respect to asset sale.
Acted for a large equipment rental company with respect to its entry to Canada and subsequent Canadian acquisitions.
Acted for a U.S company in merger with a Canadian company through an exchangeable share structure.
