Dan Tiemann is KPMG’s Global Head of Transaction Services and Service Group Leader for KPMG Deal Advisory in the U.S. Dan specializes his services throughout a transaction’s life cycle, going beyond traditional due diligence to help address factors such as deal financing, compensation arrangements, capital markets regulatory and deal structure. His team provides services in financial due diligence, lender due diligence, post acquisition due diligence, SPA contract assistance, completion accounts, price adjustments, transaction structuring assistance, carve out assistance, and vendor due diligence and assistance. Dan has an extensive background in mergers and acquisitions, having acted as financial consultant to numerous investors and lenders on more than 500 leveraged transactions. In addition, Dan has assisted numerous private equity investors in conducting due diligence and integrating target companies.
