Monna has 20 years of consulting in human resources and change management where he has fulfilled various roles such as being a subject matter expert, project and programme manager, account leader, managing director (of a medium sized HR consultancy) and served as a non-executive.
To highlight some of experience, Monna has led a multi-national team on an operating model design and organisational structure realignment project for an airport in the SADC region. The organisation developed a 5-year strategy and sought assistance with designing a forward looking, cost effective and more efficient structure to fulfil its mandate in a more competitive and cost constrained environment. In addition, Monna has led a team of over 10 consultants over a period of 14 months to realign a higher education institution’s support functions to its 15-year strategy and repositioned it for a future where learning and learning materials were digitized and delivered through e-platforms. As a result of this assignment the institution had a fit-for-purpose operating model, a well-documented value chain, a strategy-aligned and detailed support function structures, well defined job family clusters, new and updated job descriptions, and trained staff that were capable of undertaking a similar assignment in future.
