KPMG International is a Swiss cooperative

KPMG is a global network of professional services firms providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services. We operate in 155 countries and have 174,000 people working in member firms around the world. The independent member firms of the KPMG network are affiliated with KPMG International Cooperative ("KPMG International"), a Swiss entity. Each KPMG firm is a legally distinct and separate entity and describes itself as such.

This structure is designed to support consistency of service quality and adherence to agreed values wherever in the world our member firms operate.

Client services are provided by KPMG member firms or by other independent firms licensed by member firms to use the KPMG name. Each KPMG firm is separate and legally distinct. KPMG International does not provide services to clients.

Member firms are located in 155 countries. Collectively, they employ more than 174,000 people.

It is now 26 years since KPMG opened our first office in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Since then we have grown to a point where we have about 5,200 staff working in 18 countries.

Member firms commit themselves to a common set of KPMG values. Firms must abide quality standards governing how they operate and how they provide services to clients. Other firms, licensed by member firms to use the KPMG name, must also abide by these standards. Each KPMG member firm takes responsibility for its management and the quality of its work. Partners and professionals within those firms undertake to act with integrity at all times.

Unless otherwise indicated, references in this website to a 'member firm' or 'member firms' includes references to member firms of KPMG International, other firms licensed by them to use the KPMG name and, in each case, firms controlled by them.

Governance of KPMG in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE)

The CEE Board, which represents each geography, deals with strategic governance matters, while the CEE Executive Team covers day-to-day operational matters affecting the CEE region. There are also Executive Teams in each CEE country to deal with local operational matters.

We are organized around our Audit, Tax and Advisory practices.
