KPMG International announces the appointment of Gary Wingrove as Global COO.

Today, KPMG International announced the appointment of Gary Wingrove as Global Chief Operating Officer.

Gary has more than 25 years’ experience within the organization, most recently serving as CEO of KPMG in Australia and board member for KPMG Asia Pacific for eight years. He also gained extensive experience in the Australian firm in areas including management consulting, risk consulting, deal advisory and corporate finance.

In his new role, he joins KPMG’s Global Management Team, responsible for delivering on the global organizations’ strategy and overseeing day-to-day operational business functions across the network of member firms in 144 countries and territories.


I’ve spent the bulk of my career in professional services working across a range of disciplines and teams within the KPMG family. KPMG Australia is one of the network’s largest organizations, working with some of the region’s biggest and best known businesses. I’m looking forward to taking on the challenge of this global role, helping to shape KPMG’s robust, long-term growth strategy and ensuring member firms and our people across the world have the right tools and direction to flourish.
