Melissa Hardaway succeeds Diane Jeffreys effective 1 April 2021

KPMG today announced that Melissa Hardaway has been selected as the next Global Chief Administrative Officer and Global Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 April. She succeeds in this role Diane Jeffreys who will be retiring from KPMG at the end of April after close to 30 years with the organization.

As part of this new appointment, Melissa will serve on the KPMG Global Management Team led by KPMG Chairman & CEO, Bill Thomas.

Melissa has been with KPMG over 31 years, most recently in the roles of US firm National Partner-in-Charge of Risk Management – Tax, and the Americas Region Tax Risk Management Partner. During her career, she has served a wide variety of both privately held and publicly traded clients, including a number of Fortune 500 companies primarily in the technology industry. Melissa is a sought-out speaker, particularly on issues dealing with accounting for income taxes, and has been recognized as one of Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Women of Influence.
