At KPMG we celebrate our differences and truly value an inclusive culture built on trust. Every day, we encourage our people to come as they are, bringing their whole selves to work to help drive positive change. Our Inclusion, Diversity & Equity Collective Action Plan is built on the solid foundation of our Purpose and Values and sets out the significant steps KPMG is taking to drive IDE across the global organization and within the communities we serve.

Our commitment

KPMG is committed to creating a safe and inclusive work environment that is free from harassment, intimidation, bullying, and discrimination. We know that in doing so, we will attract diverse talent that is representative of the world we live in and create an environment where all perspectives are encouraged as we solve challenging issues and lead the way forward.

What we believe

We see diversity as a strength in our workplace. We all benefit when LGBTQ+ human rights are respected, and every one of our people can bring their authentic selves to work. KPMG is committed to supporting diversity of sexual orientation and gender identity.

What we’ve done to drive progress

We continue to create a caring, inclusive, purpose-led and values-driven culture for our people. To further demonstrate this, these are just some of the ways we support inclusion for our LGBTQ+ people and communities:

  • Encourage all our people to become active allies, and increase awareness and acceptance of LGBTQ+ human rights, acknowledging our LGBTQ+ people for all that they are and contribute to our Global organization.

  • Established our Global Pride employee network in support of our LGBTQ+ people since 2016.

  • Became a signatory to the UN Human Rights Office Standards of Conduct for Business in 2017, tackling discrimination against Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, and Intersex People.

  • Host an annual KPMG Global Pride Conference annually since 2020.

  • Through our membership of the Out Leadership Global LGBTQ+ Business Network, we sent KPMG LGBTQ+ emerging leaders across the globe to the 2021 OutNEXT leadership program.

  • Co-sponsored WorldPride in Copenhagen in August 2021.

  • Launched a Global LGBTQ+ Inclusion Statement which sets the tone for our organization at a global level and presents a unified voice on our support and commitments for our LGBTQ+ people and communities.
