However, as the demand for digital services continues to rise in the future so will the telecom sector’s consumption of energy, making sustainability a priority for the future. What steps can the telcos take to become more sustainable? Circular economy can be an answer to this question as it contributes to achievement of 8 out of 17 SDGs laid out by the United Nations.
