How we behave today is less constrained by national borders than ever before. The use of technology is changing how we interact with each other and how we work. Organizations are increasingly transforming their global mobility programs through the use of digital technologies and automating what was previously managed by their people and reducing delays in their processes.
According to the 2021 Global Assignment Policies and Practice Survey, 44 percent of global mobility professionals are using data and analytics to guide their global mobility policy decision making – this is significantly up from 30 percent in 2020. The resulting efficiency gains may then in turn be used to help maximize the positive experience mobile employees derive from moving to a new country, or between countries, while ensuring the organization remains compliant with their reporting obligations.
