The EU Mandatory Disclosure Regime (DAC6) is a far-reaching piece of legislation, creating significant new tax governance obligations for organizations operating across borders. With particular relevance for financial services businesses, local implementations of the rules are being keenly monitored by potentially impacted groups as they seek to understand the practical impacts for the way they do global business.

With just over four months remaining for countries to complete their legislative processes the pace of developments is quickening, with draft legislation now available in many key jurisdictions.

This webcast covers the latest developments, highlighting key themes and potential areas of difficulty.  Presenters considered the questions answered and raised by the draft legislation published in the UK and other key jurisdictions, with a particular focus on how the rules may apply to banks, insurers, asset managers, and other financial services businesses, and will discuss how these businesses might address the practical issues arising – including through the use of technology solutions.
