The Monetary Authority of Singapore actively promotes Singapore as a financial centre and has introduced numerous initiatives or grant programs over the years to support this effort. These incentives include the financial sector development fund and the financial sector technology and innovation scheme.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore in 2019 will introduce a new grant program to support enterprises seeking to raise capital through the Singapore equity market. The new grant will apply for a three-year period.
