The 2019/2020 budget proposals were presented to the National Assembly on 4 February 2019. There were no changes to the tax laws proposed in the budget speech.
During the budget speech, it was noted that the income tax law had been amended to introduce transfer pricing and thin capitalisation provisions. Also, a bill to amend the transfer duty law is expected to be presented to Parliament in March 2019, and the capital transfer tax law would be amended to align it to the transfer duty legislation.
