The CRA has announced the CPP contribution limits for the upcoming new year. The maximum pensionable earnings under the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) for 2019 will increase to $57,400 (from $55,900). The employee and employer contribution rates for 2019 will increase to 5.1% (up from 4.95%), and the self-employed contribution rate will increase to 10.2% (from 9.9%).
