Individuals involved in preparing financial reports for corporations or other organizations need to be aware of certain 2017 income tax rate and other tax changes.

These tax changes may need to be reflected in interim financial statements under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) or under other accounting principles.

Federal and provincial tax legislation, substantively enacted but not yet enacted or enacted after 31 December 2016, may need to be considered.
