JCT description of revenue provisions in FY 2016 budget

The Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) today released its report of the revenue provisions contained in the administration’s FY 2016 budget proposal.

Today’s transmittal message from the JCT explains that because certain revenue provisions including in the president’s FY 2016 budget proposal are substantially similar or identical to those in prior years’ proposals, the JCT report generally describes only those proposals that did not appear in the FY 2015 budget proposal or that are substantially modified from prior years’ proposals.
