Dan Tiemann oversees KPMG’s Deal Advisory across the Americas region and is the Service Group Leader for its U.S. practice. Dan specializes his services throughout a transaction’s life cycle, going beyond traditional due diligence to help address factors such as deal financing, compensation arrangements, capital markets regulatory and deal structure. His team provides services in financial due diligence, lender due diligence, post-acquisition due diligence, SPA contract assistance, completion accounts, price adjustments, transaction structuring assistance, carve out assistance, and vendor due diligence and assistance. Dan has an extensive background in mergers and acquisitions, having acted as financial consultant to numerous investors and lenders on more than 500 leveraged transactions. In addition, Dan has assisted numerous private equity investors in conducting due diligence and integrating target companies, and was the Global Head of Transaction Services between 2010 to 2020.
