KPMG in the UK

Chris is KPMG’s global IFRS financial instruments leader. In this role, he is responsible for leading the development of KPMG’s guidance on the new financial instruments standard, helping to promote global consistency. He is also KPMG’s global IFRS insurance deputy leader. He has worked as part of KPMG’s International Financial Reporting Group since 2008, and is a member of the IASB’s IFRS 9 Transition Resource Group for Impairment of Financial Instruments. Chris has over two decades of experience in auditing and accounting, specialising in financial instruments and banking. He became a partner of KPMG in the UK in 2004 and helped establish KPMG’s London-based US Accounting and Reporting Group.
