Bastien joined KPMG in March 2007 as the water sector lead within the infrastructure practice. He is a seasoned specialist with more than 15 years of experience covering potable water production and distribution, desalination plants, wastewater collection, treatment and reuse, and occasionally irrigation. Bastien’s main focus is to advise clients on public-private partnerships (PPP) for both greenfield and brownfield assets, as well as on merger and acquisition transactions. He has worked with most of the largest players in the industry – developers, operators and investors. He has also advised many public sector entities on structuring and procurement of projects. Moreover, Bastien coordinates the development of our offering in the sector across the project lifecycle, including strategy, operational efficiency improvement and asset management. Prior to this, he spent 8 years at Veolia Water, where he worked on large transactions in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
