Bob is part of KPMG Strategy in the US and a professional services veteran with deep advisory services expertise and over 25 years of industry experience in payments, fintech, and banking. He has specific industry knowledge in card processing, card issuing, retail and commercial banking, global payment processing, prepaid cards, and global treasury services. At KPMG, Bob leads the banking sector within Financial Services Strategy and is responsible for developing relationships with leaders across financial services, fintech, and payments companies while leading engagement execution that drives strategic business value. He has performed various projects related to product and customer strategies, pricing strategy, consumer card market re-entry, payments technology strategy, business, product, and technology transformation, operational improvement, and new market entry strategy. Specialty areas include: Strategy Development & Execution, Business Transformation, Digital & Mobile Experiences, Technology Strategy & Execution, Product and Channel Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Integration. Prior to KPMG, Bob spent 20 years at Bank of America most recently leading BA Merchant Services, at the time the third largest global merchant acquirer. He had overall P&L responsibility for the business while leading the business strategy, sales, product innovation & management, and risk management functions across the business. Bob also led multi-disciplined sales teams across Commercial & PrePaid Cards, Government (GSA) Cards, Federal Government Treasury Sales, and Global Trade Services. Prior to that, he ran a number of the bank’s global treasury sales teams across large corporate, commercial banking, and real estate banking.
