Alan Picone

Alan joined KPMG Luxembourg in 2018 as a Partner within the Risk Advisory division. Prior to joining KPMG, Alan was a Managing Director at Duff & Phelps for 5 years, heading-up the European Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFM) operation primarily based in Luxembourg, and acting in a capacity of Conducting Officer, in addition to be the Global Head of Risk Consulting for the Group. Prior to that, Alan was leading the Financial Risk Management service line in another Big 4 firm, and he also previously headed risk units in various banking institutions. As a quantitative expert, Alan has over the last 15+ years developed a holistic and comprehensive perspective on risk matters which he leverages to assist clients across a variety of risk assignments.
