Morten Mønster

Morten possesses broad industry knowledge from the oil & gas sector. His experience spans from strategic and financial advisory through operational consulting. Before Morten joined KPMG as managing partner, he headed Energy & Resources in Norway and the Nordics at Deloitte AS. Morten has 20 years of experience within the energy and process industry from various management positions in professional service companies i.e. Nordic executive at IBM and equity partner in PwC Consulting and as managing director of a Norwegian oil service company named ABBON AS during the period from 2006-2009. He combines his strategic experience with financial advisory and due diligence processes within gas infrastructure divestments where shippers of gas has divested their ownership interest of gas infrastructure asset to pension funds. When Statoil Fuel & Retail was listed in 2010, he supported the carve-out and listing due diligence process including all financial aspects of the carve-out from Statoil ASA. When Marathon oil company was carved-out from US Steel during the period from 2001-2003, whern he lived in Houston, US. Morten worked as responsible partner with ERP financial management carved-out.
