Lorraine Mackin

Global Head of Government

KPMG International

Lorraine serves as the Global Head of Government for KPMG International. She has over 30 years of international experience working with senior government clients, most notably across Europe and Asia Pacific. She has delivered some of the most complex reform and transformation engagements for clients in Defense, Security and Justice, Health and Human Services, Transport and Infrastructure, Homeland and Foreign Affairs and Treasury, as well as Trade and Cabinet.

Lorraine began her career as a UK civil servant in the early 1990s and transitioned into consulting in the early 2000s. As a Client Lead Partner, she rapidly grew government practices across multiple priority accounts and geographies, for a mix of technology, consulting and Big 4 partnerships. Lorraine joined KPMG in 2015, and in 2018, moved into the UK Consulting Leadership Team. She led the UK’s Insight Led Improvement business, which integrated Operations Transformation with Data Analytics and Powered, doubling revenue over three years. In 2019 Lorraine was asked to lead Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare Consulting, where she developed a diverse, talented team which has rapidly grown by helping clients solve their largest and most complex issues.

My passion has always been in helping Government clients to shape a response to a world which is changing rapidly. As we emerge from the greatest health crisis in living memory, Government and business can work together to shape a better, more sustainable world with social justice driving prosperity, wellbeing and renewed trust across our communities.”
