Jim is a Principal in the Financial Services practice of KPMG’s Managed Service business. He has 25+ years of Financial Services Industry consulting experience in both the US and Canada. His engagement experience has focused exclusively in the financial services industry. Jim has considerable experience helping both retail banks and insurance companies improve their profitability by focusing on both sides of the cost and revenue equation. He has achieved this by working collaboratively with client executives and leading consulting teams to streamline business processes, integrate disparate systems and determine impacts to roles, responsibilities as well as performance metrics and incentives.He has led multiple engagements focused on improving front, middle and back office operations in the following areas; retail loan operations, mortgage operations, commercial loan operations, bankcards, commercial insurance operations and group life and health operations. His functional experience includes business process optimization/reengineering, merger integration, strategic planning, risk management, change management, competitor analysis, market analysis, and performance measurement.
