Joubert is head of KPMG’s Life Sciences practice in Africa. He is a licensed pharmacist and MBA graduate with over 18 years’ extensive leadership and business experience in consulting, healthcare (incl. clinical, provider, payer, managed healthcare) and life sciences (incl. pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic) sectors, at local and international levels for market-leading consulting, healthcare and life sciences companies. He has secured business in the private & public sectors, dealing with clients, patients, healthcare & life sciences professionals, hospitals groups, medical schemes, administrators, managed healthcare customers, government departments, professional societies, industry bodies and private equity companies at different strategic levels. He has an in depth knowledge of the African healthcare & life sciences environment, established relationships with key stakeholders and a strong track record in negotiations and advising key clients. He has 13 years’ international experience in market access and 9 years executive level experience. He has a strong business track record in achieving business results, a strong leadership track record in building/leading teams and developing people, leading cross-functional (local and international) business teams and working groups, a strong track record in strategic thinking and delivering organisational effectiveness. His experience in Africa enable him to provide clients with tailored business solutions.
