Yuji is a specialist in operational restructuring and has been involved in a variety of industry restructuring and turnaround projects. Through his 20 years of experience at both foreign and domestic consulting firms, he has been involved in a wide range of projects, from strategy formulation and implementation support for mid- to long-term management plans, new business strategies, and business development, which are key management issues mainly in the manufacturing and distribution/retail industries, to on-site improvement and reform activities such as product development reform, SCM reform, SCM system construction, and promotion of company-wide business reform. After joining KPMG FAS, he has been supporting a wide range of corporate reforms, including product development reform, SCM reform, SCM system construction, and company-wide business reform. Since joining KPMG FAS, he has been involved in a number of business turnaround projects, including business due diligence for business companies and PE funds, business strategy formulation, business plan formulation, and support for negotiations with financial institutions for business turnarounds of underperforming companies in the retail distribution industry and other industries. He is currently in charge of the Consumer & Retail sector at KPMG FAS, where he provides comprehensive business and financial consulting support to companies in this industry. In addition, as a member of the RS/OR team at KPMG FAS, he provides BDD to PMI support for acquisitions aimed at creating future value and synergies, and formulates business revitalization plans that include operational reforms.
