Emiel van Duuren

Emiel has a background in Corporate Finance. He started his career in 2013 at the Dutch insurer Achmea, where he was involved in valuations, capital market transactions and market analyses. In early 2017, he transitioned into strategy consulting by joining KPMG’s Global Strategy Group (GSG). Since then, he has managed strategic projects in a variety of industries. These include both deal-related commercial due diligence projects, as well as growth strategy projects. Emiel has a passion for sustainability, which started with his thesis about the integration of environmental, social and corporate governance facts in asset management, and has recently led to a focus on projects in plastic recycling and renewable energy.
