Nick Chandler

In his current role in Accounting Advisory Services, Nick leads a national team of technical accounting specialists providing transaction specific and ad hoc accounting advice to a large number of FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 UK listed companies. This includes advice on the application of new and existing accounting requirements to a range of business activities including revenue accounting (under IFRS 15), renewable energy structures, property lease structures, pension funding arrangements, financing transactions, group restructuring, distributable reserves and IFRS conversions. Nick also provides specific accounting support and expert witness services in relation to accounting disputes with HMRC. Nick is a highly experienced trainer and delivers IFRS training to a number of FTSE 100 finance teams. He also leads the accounting training for senior UK non-executive directors through KPMG’s Audit Committee Institute and is a regular speaker at KPMG’s biannual Client Financial Reporting Seminars.
