Shahina is a senior associate in KPMG’s Global Strategy Group based in the UK. Shahina has a number of years in consulting in both the public and private sector. Her particular focus in the Healthcare and Life Sciences strategy advisory group is on pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and diagnostics. She has worked in a number of areas including patient pathways, market analysis, strategic options assessments and commercial due diligence. Shahina has also previously held a role in a top FTSE 100 global pharmaceutical company where her focus was enabling the manufacturability of biologics and wider medicines. She has specific knowledge in discovery and innovation of medicines, pre-clinical research and the entire process of taking a medicinal compound from early innovation through to Phase 1 clinical trials. She is also the author of number of articles in scholarly journals such as Biotechnology & Bioengineering.
