Anti-Bribery and Corruption Regulations in Vietnam


On 15 August 2019, Decree 59* providing specific guidance on the implementation of the New Anti-Corruption Law from 2018** came into effect. To assist our clients in the banking sector and publicly listed companies understand and appreciate the new requirements that are now in place, KPMG is organizing an event titled a “Briefing on New Anti-Bribery and Corruption Regulations in Vietnam,” followed by a networking reception.

During the briefing, our legal and industry-expert professionals will present the implications of Decree 59 and Vietnam’s Anti-Corruption Law, in addition to a brief discussion of the FCPA, for public companies and credit institutions, as well as providing recommended amendments to current anti-corruption policies and internal control mechanisms that businesses in Vietnam should consider.
