Transporte Inteligente, la consultora KPMG y la firma de inteligencia de mercado global IDC estimaron que para 2023, a partir del crecimiento en la adopción de 5G y la computación Edge, cinco importantes industrias –manufacturas industriales, atención médica conectada, transporte inteligente, monitoreo ambiental y la industria del gaming– generarán US$ 517 mil millones en ingresos anuales. Asimismo, KPMG considera que 5G y Edge Computing jugarán un papel clave en la recuperación económica global luego del impacto de COVID-19.
