KPMG LLP, the U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm, has named Amy Banovich as managing partner of its Seattle office, effective December 1. Banovich will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the office. She succeeds Mark Gibson, who was named the national sector leader for KPMG’s U.S. Technology, Media, and Telecom practice

Banovich joined KPMG in 2002 and was admitted to the partnership in 2008. A passionate community volunteer, she serves on the executive committee of the Seattle Sports Commission board, and on the audit committees of the Seattle Foundation and the Seattle Art Museum. Banovich previously served on the board of the Special Olympics USA Games for the national Games in Seattle in 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
