Adding 24 entities, removing one entity
The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) of the U.S. Commerce Department today released for publication in the Federal Register a final rule amending the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) by adding 24 entities under 26 entries to the entity list.
According to the final rule [PDF 269 KB], the entities were determined by the U.S. government to be acting contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States and will be listed on the entity list under the following destinations:
- Latvia
- Pakistan
- Russia
- Singapore
- Switzerland,
- United Arab Emirates (UAE)
In addition, this final rule removes from the entity list one entity listed in three entries under Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
