Spain: Financial measures in “Creation and Growth Law”

Decree-Law 18/2022—known in English as the “Creation and Growth” Law—introduces several financial measures aimed at expediting the start-up process, strengthening regulation and eliminating obstacles to the pursuit of economic activities, while combatting late payments and facilitating access to financing, including measures that will:
- Enhance corporate financing
- Enhance collective investment
- Revise certain rules for venture capital entities
The Creation and Growth Law was published on 28 September 2022 in the official gazette and is effective beginning 19 October 2022.
