Resolution No. 201-4393 (21 June 2022) establishes the obligation for taxpayers to update their information in the taxpayer registry (Registro Único de Contribuyentes—RUC) no later than 31 July 2022.

Taxpayers who do not make updates by the due date will not be able to submit the corresponding forms to comply with their tax obligations and could be subject to the penalties established by law.

Some unions have requested an extension of the due date for updating information in the RUC, but the tax authority has yet to approve such requests.

In addition, Resolution No. 201-4984 (12 July 2022) repeals Resolutions No. 201-1254 (7 March 2018) and No. 201-3616 (4 June 2018), and provides certain changes to the RUC.
