Various GST rate rationalization and clarification measures recommended by GST Council

The Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council held a meeting 28-29 June 2022 and recommended various GST rate rationalization and clarification measures, as well as measures focused on trade facilitation and streamlining GST compliance.

The GST Council announced that the recommended rate changes will be made effective from 18 July 2022.
