A notification on the implementation of the online self-declared labour inspections

The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training on 27 May 2022, issued a notification on the implementation of the online self-declared labour inspections. The release serves as a reminder to all enterprises, companies, and factories under the scope of the Cambodian labour law that there are certain obligations such as:

  • To make a self-declared labour inspection online twice a year (the first time by 1 June 2022, and the second time before the end of December each year)
  • To cooperate with local authorities to promote and arrange booster doses of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccinations for workers and employees

Penalties can be imposed for failures to comply with the requirements.
