The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training on 24 May 2022 issued Announcement No. 019/22 concerning permissible days off for the 5 June 2022 Commune/Sangkat Council Election.
The announcement requires all enterprises, companies, and factories under the scope of the Cambodian labor law to permit their employees and workers to take two days off—including one day before, and one day after the election day. All salaries, wages, and other benefits of employees and workers must remain the same for these permissible days off.
