Enforcement guidelines related to the common reporting standard regime

The Department for International Tax Cooperation (DITC) of the Cayman Islands issued enforcement guidelines related to the common reporting standard (CRS) regime.

The guidelines:

  • Set forth principles and processes to be followed in order to comply with the CRS regime
  • Are applicable to all persons that fall within the scope of the Tax Information Authority’s compliance monitoring and enforcement authority 
  • Must be used in conjunction with the CRS regulations and other CRS guidelines that are available on the DITC website
