The laws on commercial rules and register have been amended to provide, among other things, that merchants must, within at least 15 days prior to the commencement of operation, register their business with the competent authority having jurisdiction over the place of business.
Moreover, all companies having business activities in Cambodia must register their business regardless of the form and term of the company.
