New structure of electronic form for VAT invoices

The Ministry of Finance unveiled a new structure for the electronic form of books of account and accounting vouchers regarding the standard audit file for value added tax (VAT) purposes.

The new structure will apply from 1 April 2022. Publication of a new scheme and brochure for the VAT invoice structure stems from the necessity of adapting it to the current legislative rules. A detailed list of changes in relation to the previous version of the structure can be found on the Ministry’s website.
