A new tax on passenger tickets to be imposed on travel through airports in the country

Qatar introduced a new tax on passenger tickets to be imposed on travel through airports in the country.

The new tax is intended to fund security and air freight infrastructure.

The new tax applies to all tickets issued on or after 1 February 2022.
