New rules for foreign businesses involved in certain electronic gaming activities
Decree 121/2021/ND-CP addresses the business of certain electronic gaming operations of foreigners. The provisions are effective 12 February 2022.
In Vietnam, the business of electronic gaming for prizes is a “conditional business line” and is not encouraged by the government. Accordingly, the new measures are intended to tighten the investment and business conditions for these electronic gaming activities.
